If traces of rubbing are found, the upper radiator hose must airtooksets be replaced with the new style hose (See Parts Information).NOTE: A modified hose was used in production from approximately mid-November 1995 through June 1996, which included an extra rubber pad attached to the outside of the hose in the critical area. If traces of rubbing are found on the rubber pad area of this type of hose, it must also be replaced with the new style hose. Locking devices in general are not easy to remove and replace. Because of this, it may be advantageous to have necessary adjustments done from another section of the machine.Doug/Zero-Max: When using keyless locking devices, there are fewer application problems because there is no keyway failure or fatigue. Connections without keyways also have smaller shaft diameters, translating into shaft material cost savings. The single screw type can be tightened and repositioned many times without component wear or machine downtime.
